SUBJECT: Sole Source Procurement for Investigation of Unidentified Flying Objects
 
TO: OAR (RRG)
 
  1. You are authorized to proceed with a sole source procurement under Program Element 6.14.45.01.4, Project 9730, Research Investigations of Unidentified Flying Objects. The University of Colorado is an approved selection for this procurement. The grant should be implemented in the manner indicated in the Air Force Office of Scientific Research letter of 31 August 1966 to Dr. Thurston E. Manning, Vice President of the University of Colorado.

2. The Secretary of the Air Force, Research and Development, has been apprised of this intended selection and has approved the Principal Investigator.
