                    Attn: Directorate of Intelligence

SUBJECT: German Scientists (Civil), Reimar Horten.

       1.    Reference is made to the recent telephone request of Captain Macken
that Dr. Reimar Horten, allocated to the U.K. on the U.K. 15th Civil List,
be made available to the Department of the Air Force for interview.

       2.   The British Joint Services Missions has agreed to the interview of
Horten by the Department of the Air Force at some future date.
